Personnel Changes at Guardian Angel Cathedral

Our Business Manager, Colleen Bevilacqua, is going to be taking a step back from her role in directing the day-to-day operations of the Cathedral. Colleen joined the Cathedral ministry team as a volunteer in 2011 and was then brought on as the Business Manager in March 2014. With her assistance and guidance, the Cathedral navigated the financial headwinds brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

While Colleen is taking a step back from the day-to-day operations to spend more time with grandkids and family, she will remain on as  FINANCE MANAGER. In this part-time role, Colleen will still assist us as we continue to navigate the post-COVID world. We want to thank Colleen for not only for the many years of dedicated service to the Cathedral but for continuing to serve.

Our Director of Music, William Freeman, or “Bill,” has been asked to take on the additional role of Pastoral Associate for Operations. Bill first came to us in January 2018 as a substitute organist. Following the retirement of long-time Music Director Debbie Cenna in 2020, he became the Director of Music here at Guardian Angel. He is also the producer of our YouTube series and social media/website.

Bill brings with him a wealth of parish ministry experience from St. Anthony of Padua in Centennial Hills where has served as the Director of Music & Liturgy since January 2014. After seven years as a teacher in the Clark County School District, Bill taught his last music class earlier this week. In addition to his academic preparation in liturgical music, education, and school administration, he also holds an MBA and is currently completing his doctoral dissertation at Saint Leo University in Florida.
