Formula 1 Race Week Information

Guardian Angel Cathedral will remain open for the entirety of Formula 1 (November 21 through November 23, 2024).

Please be advised that there is the possibility of significant delays, if driving. We have been advised that ride share services will likely experience heavy volume and prolonged wait times on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Pedestrian traffic should be able to get around relatively easy.

It is recommended that all traveling to the Cathedral via automobile enter through the Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) entrance. The entrance from Channel 8 Drive is closed until 5 AM Sunday morning.

We will have our regularly scheduled Masses and Confessions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The race will conclude in the wee hours of Sunday morning with road closures lifted well before the start of our 7:30 AM Sunday Mass.
