Fr. Bob Stoeckig to Retire; Bishop Gordon Appointed Rector

After thirty years of priestly ministry to the Archdiocese of Las Vegas, Fr. Bob Stoeckig will retire on June 30, 2024. A reception for Fr. Bob will be held the weekend of June 9, 2024 in Anderson Hall. We thank Fr. Bob for his faithful service to the people of Las Vegas and wish him well in retirement.

Archbishop Thomas has appointed Bishop Gordon to serve as the new rector of Guardian Angel Cathedral effective July 1, 2024. Bishop Gordon will also continue to serve the Archdiocese of Las Vegas as Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia. Assisting Bishop Gordon, will be Fr. Muggaga Lule as Parochial Vicar.
